Daily Camp Schedule

  • 9AM to 4PM each day (Monday - Friday)

Special Parliamentary Debate Session - Thursday Evening

  • Thursday evening from 5pm to 8:30pm our two debate coaches will be hosting/leading a special Parliamentry Debate Session.
  • This session is optional and available for all Debate Campers who want to attend.
  • Students will have an hour break, from 4pm to 5pm on Thursday before this EXTRA SESSION.
  • They can bring dinner or go grab something nearby during the hour break.

A Daily Meal/Lunch Plan will be available during registration.

Monday, July 29, 2024 - Intro to Speech & Debate

  • Everyone is Invited, but FOCUS is on NEW STUDENTS to ARCH.
  • Camp Introductions; Introductions to ARCH Speech & Debate;
  • Basics of Speech; Basics of Debate
  • This will be led by ARCH Parent Leaders & Student Coaches

Tuesday, July 30, 2024 - Speech Focus: Limited Prep, Platforms & Interps

  • Led by Charis Baker

Wednesday, July 31 - Apologetics (Limited Prep Speech)

  • Led by Danny Hinton

Thursday & Friday, August 1&2 - All 3 Forms of Debate

  • In depth teaching and early case writing on Thursday and Friday for Team Policy & Lincoln Douglas. Practice Debates on Friday afternoon if at all possible.
  • NEW THIS YEAR - Several hours of in depth teaching on Parliamentary Debate on Thursday Evening from 5pm to 8:30pm.
  • Students will be on their own for dinner during the Dinner Break from 4pm to 5pm. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the Rooftop Church building and we have refrigerators for students who want to bring dinner that day.
  • This time will be led by David Alcazar and Noah McKay
